You’ll Feel Refreshed After Drinking This Iced Matcha Lemonade

by grace gavilanes - June 12, 2019

Longtime Lively readers and Vital Proteins fans will know we have a penchant for all things matcha. Yes, Matcha Collagen is part of our lineup, so we’re a little biased, but we’re also very big admirers of its powerhouse contents (hello, antioxidants and L-theanine!) as well as its versatility. You can incorporate it into matcha lattes, matcha crepe cakes, matcha truffles, and more! Plus, the collagen peptides in our Matcha Collagen help to support healthier hair, skin, nails, and joints.

One of our favorite recipes for summer even contains the pretty-green staple. Aptly titled “Iced Matcha Lemonade,” this collagen recipe contains exactly what you’d think: Vital Proteins® Matcha Collagen, fresh lemon juice, and a few healthy add-ons for added flavor.

If “more matcha, please!” is part of your daily vocabulary, you’ll love this refreshing twist on lemonade. Bonus: It will take you just a few minutes to whip up and enjoy this ice-cold beverage. Keep reading for the full how-to – just in time for beach outings and backyard hangouts.
