Read on for the recipes, whether you love a green smoothie or have a bit of a sweet tooth, there’s something for everyone.
GREEN PRE-WORKOUT SMOOTHIE
Yields 1 serving
Ingredients:
- 1 C sliced frozen banana
- 2 scoops Vital Proteins® Collagen Peptides or 2 scoops Vital Performance™ Vanilla Protein
- 3 handfuls of spinach
- 2 T cacao powder
- 2 pitted dates
- 2 T almond butter
- 1 C non-dairy milk
- 1 C ice
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend on high until smooth. Enjoy!
GREEN APPLE SMOOTHIE
Yields 2 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 green apple (cored & chopped)
- 2 C spinach
- 1 C milk of choice
- 2″ knob ginger (grated)
- 1 banana (cubed & frozen)
- 2 T chia seeds
- 2-4 scoops Vital Proteins® Collagen Peptides
- 2-3 C ice cubes (optional for a thicker consistency)
Directions:
- Combine all the ingredients in a large blender. Blend on high until smooth.
COCOA BERRY SMOOTHIE
Yields 1 serving
Ingredients:
- 1 C almond milk
- 1 banana
- 1 C frozen blueberries
- 1 C frozen cherries
- 3 T raw cacao powder
- ½ T honey
- 1 scoop Vital Proteins® Collagen Peptides
- 1 scoop Vital Performance™ Chocolate Protein
- Optional to garnish: cacao nibs, extra cherry or blueberry pieces
Directions:
- Add the ingredients to your blender in the order listed so the liquid is at the bottom.
- Blend on medium speed, increasing to high speed until the smoothie is thick and smooth.
HEMP & BERRY PROTEIN SMOOTHIE
Yields 1 serving
Ingredients:
- 1½ C coconut water (or regular filtered water)
- 2 C organic frozen berries
- 1 banana
- 6 kale leaves, ribs removed
- 2 T raw hulled hemp seeds
- 2 scoop Vital Performance™ Vanilla Protein
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth. Enjoy!
STRAWBERRY BANANA PEANUT BUTTER SMOOTHIE
Yields 2 servings
Ingredients:
- 2 scoops Vital Performance™ Vanilla Protein
- 2 overripe bananas
- 1 C unsweetened almond milk
- ¼ C creamy peanut butter
- 1 C frozen strawberries
- ½ t vanilla extract
- ¾ C ice
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth. Enjoy!
VANILLA BERRY PROTEIN SMOOTHIE
Yields 1 serving
Ingredients:
- 2 scoops Vital Performance™ Strawberry Protein
- 2/3 C vanilla Greek yogurt
- ½ C frozen mixed berries
- 2-3 ice cubes
- 1 2/3 T water
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth. Enjoy!
Coconut MATCHA SMOOTHIE
Yields 1 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 C unsweetened almond milk
- ½ C frozen peach slices
- 1 scoop Vital Proteins® Matcha Collagen
- 1 scoop Vital Proteins Collagen Creamer® in Coconut
- 1/2 medium avocado
- 2 t raw honey
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender and process on high until ingredients are combined (about 45 seconds). Serve immediately.
APPLE BERRY SMOOTHIE BOWL
Yields 1 bowl
Ingredients:
- 2 scoops Vital Proteins® Collagen Peptides
- ½ cucumber
- ½ zucchini
- ½ banana
- ½ apple
- 1 date
- ½ C mixed frozen berries
- Dash of cinnamon
- Optional to garnish: chia seeds, bee pollen, fresh raspberries, apple and pecans
Directions:
- Blend ingredients together in a blender.
- Pour into a bowl and top with desired garnishes.
