If you consider yourself a big Vital Proteins fan, chances are you’ve tried our hydrolyzed Collagen Peptides, which happens to be the first-ever product we introduced to our now-expansive lineup. But did you know we also offer our fan-favorite collagen product in the form of collagen pills?

Let’s Talk Collagen.

Our Collagen Peptides – whether in powder or pill form – help to support stronger hair, skin, nails, and joints. They are one of the most versatile products we offer because they’re flavorless, odorless, and are easily soluble in hot and cold liquids and foods.

Which One Should I Use?

In short, it all comes down to personal preference. Some people like to add their collagen powder to their favorite beverages, breakfast foods or desserts. And while adding a scoop or two of our Collagen Peptides to coffee is one of the most popular ways to take collagen, it isn’t the only one. Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides Capsules (a.k.a. collagen pills) are for those who’d rather not add collagen powder to their drinks or foods.

Aside from usage, the main difference between the two is that the collagen pills come in capsules, which are made of two ingredients: gelatin and water. There are no preservatives, additives, or excipients in these capsules. They both aid in promoting healthier hair, skin, nails, and joints.

How Do I Take Collagen Pills?

We recommend taking 6 capsules (2x per day) with an 8oz. of water. When using collagen powder, we suggest adding 1-2 scoops to your beverage or meal for optimal results.
