Luckily, those with a sweet tooth don’t have to feel guilty about enjoying seconds. This tasty collagen recipe is packed with healthy fats thanks to the addition of creamy avocado and coconut milk. To achieve the decadent flavor, I added maple syrup, cocoa powder and a hint of vanilla to the mixture. - 2 avocados (skin and pit removed)
- 1/3 C cocoa powder
- ¼ C maple syrup
- 1/3 C coconut milk
- 1 t vanilla extract
- 1 scoop Vital Proteins® Collagen Peptides
- 4-6 strawberries
- ¼ C dark chocolate
- Add the avocado flesh, cocoa powder, maple syrup, coconut milk, vanilla extract and Collagen Peptides into a food processor and blend on high until smooth.
- Once the mixture is creamy and smooth, scoop it into a bowl and top with leftover coconut cream, strawberries and dark chocolate. Enjoy!
