How Megan Roup Adds Collagen To Her Wellness Routine

Megan Roup has been taking #wellnessfromhome seriously. Not only is the fitness influencer dedicating time to leading live workouts for her 200K+ followers on Instagram, but she also recently launched a workout app, aptly titled The Sculpt Society app, that offers a 14-day free trial and over 70 on-demand and live workouts. Talk about a boss babe! And if that's not enough to get you to fall in love with her, Roup also happens to be a big Vital Proteins® fan.

Lively: How have you been practicing #wellnessfromhome?

Megan Roup: I usually get up around 7:30 a.m. and go through my morning routine: I drink a large glass of lemon water, French press coffee and do a quick meditation on The Sculpt Society app. I then prep for my two live workouts on my app. I go live at 9:30 a.m. EST + 12:30 p.m. EST – giving my community live daily options has been incredibly important to me during this time. In between workouts, I am answering emails and organizing new class content and playlists. It never stops. At night, I try to cook or unwind from work by taking a walk outside with my fiancé. We make sleep a priority and are in bed reading most nights by 10 p.m.

L: Sounds like a busy day! Is there a workout you’re currently obsessed with? 

MR: My current favorite workouts on the TSS app have been the gentle sculpt classes under "Beginner Sculpt." My body has been craving some more gentle sculpt workouts and I love how efficient and effective these sequences are. 

L: Working out at home can get old real fast – what do you recommend others do to spice things up?

MR: Make a designated workout area in your home or apartment, where you have all you equipment and set up. Also try working out with a friend virtually. I've seen so many videos of friends in different areas using FaceTime while completing the same TSS workout. This way you don't feel alone. It's a great way to stay connected.  

L: We’re curious: How do you overcome a workout rut? 

MR: My biggest workout tip is to find a workout you love so that it doesn't feel like a chore. Start with small goals like adding in movement 2-3 times a week, which won't feel overwhelming and you'll be more likely to stick to. 

L: We know you’re a fan of Vital Proteins! What does your collagen routine look like?
