Original Collegen

I could not move without my collagen in my coffee each day. Even when I travel that is the first thing I pack. My Aussie gets a scoop a day and he has overcome a lot of joint surgeries and pain because of it not to mention both of us have great hair!!

Too hard to digest

For people with digestive (leaky gut) issues a peptide version might be easier to digest without reactions. I cannot use beef peptides.

Great in soups

I’ve been using this in my soup and stews. Delicious and healthy.

This got me off coffee, it's been life changing

I am 65, and on top of microscopic colitis (non-functioning colon) I have severe osteoarthritis, as in bone on bone joints just about everywhere. I have EDS, for those interested in genetics, and have the FUT2 mutation as well. All things that point to having my conditions by my age. I'm not complaining, life has been very good, I've been blessed. Anyway.... I was using the regular blue package collagen peptides in my coffee each morning for over a year. and found no difference in my pain level or mobility. I got packets of this chicken bone broth free where I work part time, about 10 months back. At first it tasted blah, so I went back to the peptides. A few months later I was muscle tested for the bone broth collagen, and it was off the charts positive for me (unlike the peptides, which were neutral.) This is what prompted me to give it another try. And I learned how to make it so it tastes YUM, so for fun, I started subbing it for morning coffee. It's been about 3 months now, and my joints are loving me. I can do a lot more things on my days off now, like gardening and other yard work, painting the utility room, etc. And my gut is much improved too. And - the convenience of this product can't be beat. So thank you Vital Proteins for creating this product and sending the free sample to my store. I'd never have found it otherwise.

Poor taste

Smelled really strong (like dog food) and I just couldn’t get past it.

weird taste

I love bone broth and unfortunately this one has a really weird taste. I love many of the other Vital Proteins products, but this one wasn't my favorite.

New Canisters

I actually bought two canisters of the Beef Bone Broth Collagen and one canister of the Chicken Bone Broth Collagen in my last order. I prefer the taste of the Beef but have found that in this shipment the beef does not dissolve as well as the chicken. My previous purchases have been the shorter, wider containers but this last purchase was the new containers which I do not like nearly as well. It is a little harder to get the scoop out, especially as the canister gets emptier. I plan to continue ordering and drinking a serving every day but I would prefer the return of the original canisters.

It's a great way to get your collagen and Amino acids. I don't have to worry about what to mix it with. Very convenient. Delicious.

This was my 2nd chicken

This was my 2nd chicken broth>.had no problem with the 1st,but this one every time I consume it the next AM I wake up sneezing. So something seems different. What is the source of the chicken parts? Are you adding any veggies, apple cider v.,salt or anything else to the broth? Warren

Organic, Free Range Chicken Bone Broth Collagen

I tried to use the Organic, Free Range Chicken Bone Broth Collagen because some reviewer said the taste was okay to use for everything. But I didn’t think so. I think you should use it for cooking or soup then would be good taste. I picked a wrong one for making smoothie. I gave the one star because of the only the reason but probably it’d be given 5 stars if I used it right way

Vital Proteins

Ok in a pinch

I think making your own bone broth from scratch is so much better, but in a pinch you can use this. The smell overwhelms me so I have to drink fast.

Bone broth

To be honest the taste is awful on it's own. I bought for quick drink on the road but found I can't drink it alone. It's okay if I make it in to soup with veg and other seasonings etc..
