Sophia Sesto: I am a Social Media & Influencer Manager here at Vital Proteins! What I love most is getting to connect with thousands of content creators and beauty and wellness enthusiasts to share the amazing offerings of the brand. It’s truly so rewarding to open up Instagram and see the amazing personal collagen stories from those we’ve introduced our products to. I also love facilitating a space to engage with our community, continue pushing creative boundaries in the social space and most recently, TikTok! I am LIVING for the app and am so inspired, entertained and sometimes tickled pink at seeing all the amazing content featuring Vital Proteins.
SS: Mornings ALWAYS start with coffee and collagen of course. I used to have an espresso shot at home and then wait for my ICONIC iced collagen coffee at HQ. However, now I go straight to iced coffee in the morning and open the curtains to let the sunshine in! Next, I water my plants which currently include a bright pink potted hydrangea, rosemary and a mass cane plant for good vibes and air purification. Lately, the Chicago weather has been lovely, so I typically open up the windows, switch into a comfy pair of sweats (can’t stop pulling for tie-dye lol) and log on a little before 9 a.m. to ease into the workday. I always make a to-do list for the day and try to get through my most daunting tasks first as well as sift through immediate emails. Around 11 a.m., I tune into my favorite podcast, The Morning Toast, and embrace all the positive vibes to get through the rest of the day (and maybe have another collagen iced coffee or two ;) ).
SS: TikTok. I cannot stop with TikTok. It truly gets my creative juices and positive vibes going - there is so much you can do and endless scrolling! Secondly, my colleagues. Vital is such a special place full of dynamic, off-the-cuff and hard-working individuals. Everyone is truly at the top of their game, and we make magic happen. Every single day I am reminded how lucky I am to work amongst the best in the industry, accomplish great feats and grow from leaders like no other.
SS: Thai chicken salad every single day! No questions. Never gets old!!
SS: Truly, I have been taking it moment by moment, practicing gratitude and accepting this time to reset. I have really gotten back into a healthy sleep routine (thank you, Blueberry Moon Milk Collagen Latte™!) as well as keeping in touch more than ever with my family. It’s been so rewarding to really hone in my energy on what truly makes me happy, relaxed and inspired. Good sleep, connecting with family and friends as well as TikTok sparking my creativity, have truly impacted my wellness in a wonderful, wholesome way!
