Depending on the day of the week, I’m either up at 5:30am to get to a 6:00am workout class or I’m sleeping in until 7:00am on a rest day. I’m not really a morning person but I have to maximize the time in my day to get everything done that I need to (#studentlife). Some of my favorite places to work out in the city are CycleBar Fulton Market, Sweat Lincoln Park or Pilates Pro Works. After my workout, I head home to shower, get ready for the day and of course spend time with my fur babies Mowgli and Apricot (pictured below). Luckily, my commute to work is a quick 8-minute walk.

Once I’m in the office, I place an order for an iced oat milk latte with our OG Collagen Peptides (shout out to our barista, Marco!) and grab a bar for breakfast. I’m loving the Maple Sea Salt flavor by GoMacro these days!

As the Education Coordinator at Vital Proteins, my day consists of creating product launch decks, developing education resources and supporting our retailers with online or in-person trainings. What I love most about my job is not only that I get to interact with so many different departments but also that I’m able to utilize my background in nutrition and Functional Medicine. Most recently, I was able to support our Canadian launch in my hometown of Toronto!

Since I’m in graduate school working towards my Master’s in Nutrition, most of my evenings consist of watching lectures, completing assignments and doing readings for school. Tuesdays and Thursdays, I intern at Aligned Modern Health, a local Functional Medicine clinic, where I’m able to shadow their physician and gain clinical experience for my degree. I don’t consider myself a very creative person, but one thing I definitely make time for as a creative outlet is dancing. I love taking salsa lessons at Latin Rhythms right down the street from our office. I finish up my day having dinner with husband and chatting about where we should take our next trip. When I’m looking to have an extra restful night’s sleep**, I take one of our Sleep Collagen Shots before calling it a day.
