My day usually starts when my alarm goes off around 6:30 A.M. or 7 A.M. My husband flips on Today (hi, Hoda and Savannah!) and we chat about our days while we both get ready for work. I usually jump in my car around 8:15 A.M. and head to our office in the West Loop. As soon as I walk in the door, it’s coffee time! I wish I could accurately convey my love for coffee. I usually go to bed at night looking forward to my first cup of Vital Coffee with Collagen Peptides in the morning. I sort of wish I was joking…

Once I have a few sips of java in my system, I get to work. I am the social media coordinator at Vital Proteins. I handle all of our Instagram content and posting, along with a bunch of other digital content. First thing in the morning, I make sure all of our content and copy for the day is ready to go, while eating some oatmeal and fresh fruit. If we don’t have a video or photo shoot that day, I usually jump into my email inbox, look ahead to my meetings for the day and get working on projects.

When lunch time rolls around, I try to step away from my computer, even if it’s just for a few minutes. After getting a little more work done, I order another coffee drink from our office barista, Becca! Lately, I’ve been LOVING a VP office original: iced oat milk latte with honey and cinnamon.

Once my day at the office is finished, I head home. I’m usually in the middle of a podcast (I always love Armchair Expert and This American Life), and actually really enjoy my drive home — despite the Chicago traffic. I usually hop on the Peloton for a 20- or 30-minute ride; Jess King is my fave instructor and makes my ride go by so quickly. After this, my husband and I will make dinner, catch up on our days, and just relax with some Netflix.

I have the world’s biggest sweet tooth, but I try to make my late-night dessert as healthy as I can! I usually have a batch of these Coconut Chocolate Chip Cookies on hand, or I’ll mix our Dark Chocolate Collagen Peptides with almond milk for a healthier hot chocolate.  We usually head off to bed around 10 P.M. or so (I know, my friends make fun of my bedtime). I do a quick check of my email and our VP Instagram feed, throw some lavender essential oil in the diffuser, and we get some sleep! And already dreaming of my collagen-infused coffee the next morning...
