How Our Registered Dietitian, Jenn Randazzo, Adds Collagen To Her Daily Routine
6:30 a.m.: I roll over and, with one eye open, start frantically tapping my phone until my finger hits my alarm's "Stop" button. I get out of bed, let my pup outside, and stagger to the kitchen where I prepare my Vital Proteins Vitality® Immune Booster.** I bring that baby over to my "desk" (aka kitchen table), pop open my laptop, stream Janet Jackson's "Rhythm Nation" on YouTube and skim the morning's headlines.
7:00 a.m.: I know that if I don't work out before 3 p.m., it doesn't happen. So, I strap on my gear and get out for a morning workout that consists of a 40-minute run. Because one wouldn't know if I just finished working out or got clobbered by a tidal wave, I hop in a hot shower and slam a Defense Collagen Shot and grab some breakfast.
12:00 p.m.: After working for a while, I can feel my blood sugar start to tank. It's hot and humid outside, and I'm craving something light and easy to make since mama has to hop onto a conference call in 15 minutes.
